The sermon
Preached by
demons
We listen
We believe
We the apparatchiks
The mini-stars
Bless us with
scars
Trafficking our dreams
For limousines
The sermon
Without a
stomach for
norms
Same
sugarcoated
tongues
Same Dons
to Dunce
Our future
Depleted
like dilapidated
breasts
Milked by avid
mouths
for years
” The new
sentries
Will cure the
econo-milk
Of dysentery
Educa-shun
Re-dimmed of
measles
Ingrained with
fanta-stick
puzzles
Strait of
affairs
Ironed with
straight-jacketed
poli-seize “
We clap
Lads in Sunday
School
The devil
should eschew
They preach
Spirit-filled
Pinwheel
apparatchiks
in whirlpool
of deceits
Cliches and
litanies
of greed
Mysteries in
our polity!
Hea-lean the
sick
Maiming the
lame
The sermon
Preached by
demons.
